15118explosionsoflife: The smallest of the penguins is the little blue penguin (Eudyptula minor). Unlike other penguins, it spends its days in the sea and typically comes on shore during the night. In areas where little blue penguins are common (southern Australia and New Zealand), great numbers of these birds can be seen coming ashore as night falls to avoid marine predators. I’m sure it would be a beautiful word too.However, upon checking, I found that someone described this smell in the most lovely, accurate way: “If it’s an old book, I would say… - reminiscent of candlelit libraries on snowy nights - long years of enjoyment by readers of various time periods and situations- little bites of history - years of basking in sunlight on a wooden bookshelf - and cozy studies with big leather chairs with a fire crackling in the fireplace with the soft patter of rain on the roof.” I’m pretty sure this is in Berkeley, On the corner of Dwight and Telegraph
